LONG TERM DURABILITY

Elast-Eon™ and ECSil™ are amongst the most biostable and the least thrombogenic polyurethanes available for use in long-term implantable and blood contacting medical devices. Having been used in over eight million long term implants worldwide, they are clinically proven to maintain mechanical properties without any degradation over the long term.

Together Elast-Eon™ and ECSil™ have well over eight million long term implants and fifteen years of successful clinical use, across cardiology and urological applications. Devices manufactured from Elast-Eon™ or ECSil™ have achieved US FDA PMA approvals, 510k’s, CE marks, Australian TGA and Japanese Ministry of Health approvals as well as FDA material master files.
